North Central Hockey League
Eight teams in NCHL for 2019-20 season

The North Central Hockey League will ice eight teams for the 2019-20 season.

Three teams who were in the league last year – the Foxwarren Falcons, the Rivers Jets and the Shoal Lake Eagles – will not field teams this season.

Langenburg and Waywayseecappo were accepted into the league.

The league will be split into North and South Divisions, with each team playing four games within their own division, and a home-and-home against the other division for a 20-game season.

Grandview, Langenburg, Russell and Swan River will be in the North Division. The South teams will be Miniota-Elkhorn, Moosomin, Virden and Waywayseecappo.

A schedule is currently being worked on, with teams expected to begin play the first week of November.
